Vascular Graft
Pediatric cardiac shunts
– Vascular grafts with 3 mm internal diameters and up to 5 mm
– Thin graft walls providing better tissue approximation
– Improved handling through higher kink resistance
– Superior anastomotic conformability enabling up to 50%
elongation of beveled end
– Non-biologic PFTE fabric
GORE® PROPATEN®
Vascular Graft configured for Pediatric Shunt
In addition to the well-proven features of the ePTFE stretch vascular grafts, GORE® PROPATEN® improves thromboresistance and patency.
GORE® PROPATEN® harnesses the anticoagulant properties of heparin directly at the luminal surface of the graft. The endpoint covalent bonding anchors heparin molecules to the luminal surface while still maintaining heparin's intrinsic bioactive properties (CBAS/Carmeda Bioactive Surface). Endpoint covalent bonding prevents elution of heparin.
Cardiovascular Patch
for pediatric and adult cardiac surgery
– Cardiovascular patch for replacement and reconstruction
applications, e.g., cardiovascular defects or for use as great vessel
and peripheral vascular reconstructions.
– Pore sizes of 22µm
enabling easy embedding in surrounding tissue
– Sealing effect around penetrating sutures
– Fluorpolymer layer reducing suture hole bleeding by a minimum
of 88%.
– Non-biologic PTFE fabric
Pericardial Membrane
Adhesion prophylaxis and mechanical protection
– Replacement and reconstruction of the pericardium
– Membrane with mechanical circulary assist devices enabling easy device removal during reoperation
– Pore size of <1µm
excluding adjascent tissue ingrowth
– Non-biologic PTFE fabric
Surgical Sutures with Pledgets Chordae Tendineae Replacement and reconstruction
–
PFTE sutures with thin ePTFE pledgets
–
Suture thread sizes CV-4 and CV-5
–
Needle: Taper point, ½ circle, TH-22
–
Fast formation of endothelial-like tissue layer
