Indicated in approximation and / or ligation soft tissue, in procedures pediatric cardiovascular disease. This suture is recommended for the closure of wounds that require extended support.

Tensile strength: Fourth week 70% of the original tensile strength, sixth week 50%. Total absorption: 180 – 220 days.

Technical Information

  • Composed of: p-dioxanone monomer
  • Absorption: Hydrolysis.
  • Strand color: Violet or Undyed.

Characteristics

  • Minimal tissue reaction.
  • Greater security in the knot with the appropriate surgical technique.
  • Violet color provides excellent visibility in the surgical field
